His focus, even early in his life, was in inventory control, shipping, receiving, and logistics warehousing. This enabled him to begin his professional career in the transportation and logistics industry recruited by BAX Global. He quickly rose through the ranks to hold the position of District Manager for the entire Washington D.C. area. After successfully developing over $18 million in new sales in that market space he went on to cofound a local area courier / messenger service that provided delivery service programs for fortune 500 companies such as AT&T, IBM, Boeing, GTE, MCI-WorldCom and many government agencies. In 1990 Tom was recruited and accepted a position with a freight forwarding company in the Orlando Florida. As VP of National Accounts Tom ran a successful sales team and increased annual sales revenues over 40%. Tom then became the founding partner and shareholder of PMG Worldwide, a multi-national freight forwarding company with sales exceeding $25 million annually. In 2002, Mr. Murray further developed Adcom Worldwide in Orlando as President/owner as well as a global consulting group specializing in domestic and international resources in manufacturing, logistics development and distribution systems. This provided Tom with hands on experience in the global expansion and development for such clients as Iomega, Alfa Romeo, Universal Studios, Hard Rock Café, Walt Disney World, Planet Hollywood-All Star Café, The NBA, and Orlando Magic. For the last ten years, Tom as cofounder and President of Installation Service Group (ISG) has combined his 30+ years of experience and efforts to providing asset solutions on a global scale to ISG’s customers for warehousing, logistics and installation of FF&E for the hospitality, construction, design, and healthcare industries.
email@example.com Upon graduating from Middle Tennessee State University in 1995, Chris immediately became involved in the transportation and logistics industry beginning his career with US express, a premier trucking and logistics management company in Orlando Florida. As the Domestic Operations Manager he was responsible for over $3 million in sales revenues.
After three years in the domestic transportation market Chris was offered a position with PMG Worldwide as the Domestic Shipping and Operations Manager. He was soon also running the international logistics for the company and promptly named General Manager and Vice President of Global Operations. His responsibilities included expanding the client base with companies that included Campus Crusades, Walt Disney world, and Harris Corporation.
Over the next five years Chris honed his sales and operational skills in both the domestic and international markets with Adcom Worldwide, as Vice President of Operations and with Xpress Global Systems as a Regional Sales Manager.
As Cofounder of Installation Service Group (ISG), Chris has developed innovative ways to control the assets and streamline the supply chain for clients in hospitality, construction, design, procurement, and healthcare industries.
